Child Care Professionals

A major goal of the Child Care Connection is to build and enhance the supply of child care in the community. Efforts to address the child care needs of families and communities have resulted in the certification and renewal of family child care providers for State registration, the development of enhanced family child care provider networks, and training and technical assistance in the use of age-appropriate activities, equipment, and curricula for children in care.

For information on State registration, enhanced child care provider networks, or training, point your browser back to the Child Care Professionals tab above, and chose an area of interest from the drop-down menu.

Early Childhood Shared Services Alliance

The Mercer County EC Shared Services Alliance is a network of early child care providers that was established to improve outcomes for children and families. It does so by saving early childhood professionals time and money, which allows more of their focus to be on the educational aspects of their programs.

Membership benefits include:

  • No start-up cost
  • Free access to the director of the participating program to NJAEYC’s Shared Resources Platform
  • Recruitment support, including the ability to participate in a member-only Substitute Teacher Pool
  • Belonging to a supportive network of early childhood professionals
