The NJ Department of Human Services/Division of Family Development (DFD) has requested that all New Jersey licensed child care centers and family child care homes complete the 2023 NJ Child Care Market Rate Survey. Participation in this survey is critical for the State of New Jersey to inform policy recommendations for setting provider payment rates for the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP). The data collected will provide valuable information related to child care market prices; expenses associated with the implementation of health, safety, and staffing requirements; and the cost of higher-quality child care. DHS/DFD/Office of Child Care Operations (OCCO) will use the data to inform policy and budget planning for the State’s CCAP. Here is information on the survey, including a link to the survey:
